Our Client a multinational company providing finance and accountancy services to the world's most successful companies is urgently seeking a GL Accountant. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to take part in the migration of accountancy processes and work in a dynamic and multinational environment.
GL Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Provide a single point of contact to the Client's Financial Controller for all finance/accountancy related queries
- Maintain at a detailed level, the nominal ledgers for specific business groups including journal input, costs loads, VAT returns
- Assist in the preparation of budget / forecast figures including Group schedules
- Prepare journal entries and processing
- Perform month-end-closing activities including preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss)
- Balance sheet accounts and intercompany reconciliation
- Support Group, Management & Statutory reporting
- Provide effective communication and support to the team to ensure high standard of performance.
Skills:
- Fluent English
- 3 years relevant accounting experience
- Currently training for a professional accountancy qualification
- Possess strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel
- Analytical, with a high attention to detail
- A clear focus on and understanding of internal and external customers, being creative and flexible in overcoming customers problems and complaints
- Creative approach to the development of analysis and in the presentation/reporting of management information
