Hadoop - Java Developer

3+ years of experience in building and managing highly scalable, highly available systems

Hadoop, HBase, and NoSQL databases (ex. Mongo, Cassandra and Couchbase)

Well versed with object oriented design methodology and design patterns

Strong hands on programming skills in Java with command in multi-threaded and asynchronous programming is a must

Extensive development experience in Linux/Unix

Good knowledge of network protocols/firewall which are crucial for application deployment

Experience in creating REST services/Web Services

Experience with Spring Framework

Experience with Tomcat

Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills

Strong experience in using open source frameworks

Experience with UI development

Experience with Python, Django, Flask

Work experience with complex event processing frameworks (Kafka, Storm, Esper)

Contributions to open source technologies

Participation in projects for the largest technology companies in the world

Work in Poland and abroad (mostly Europe)
