For Our Client, global company from packaging industry I am looking for candidate to handle consolidation and management accounting. Reporting directly Group Accounting Manager, cooperation with local Finance Representatives and Group FP&A Manager on site.

Global company from packaging industry, in Ślaśkie Poland they've situated the biggest packaging plant in Europe.

Description

Role:

• Lead monthly consolidation process through central HFM consolidation system - P&L, balance sheet, cash flow,
• Prepare Monthly Reporting pack for internal management and shareholders,
• Provide additonal details/analysis around monthly financial results of the sites,
• Work within central finance team to support local sites in compliance with Group wide financial reporting standards (IFRS),
• Advise on complex accounting matters, changes of standards, etc.,
• Build relationship with auditors and co-ordinate YE close process - in year 1 will involve new consolidation of new legal structure,
• Support projects to improve quality of financial reporting,
• Reporting Line: Group Accounting Director.

Tasks:

• Manage overall ME closing process and ensure consolidated accounts are robust and correct for board sign off,
• Lead P&L analysis where requested/required,
• Lead consolidation of the new legal structure (post-recent sale) and Group reporting,
• Act as key team member in project to standarde accounting across sites,
• Liaise with auditors and co-ordinate YE close process from 2019,
• Build strong supportive relationship with local sites,
• Co-ordinate tax reporting with support of external advisors,
• Optimize systems output to increase automation of financial reporting data capture.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance,
• Qualified accountant (preferably with Big 4 background),
• Previous Group consolidation experience in central financial reporting role essential,
• Strong technical accountant with ability to connect business decisions with financial accounting requirements,
• People person with ability to build relationships quickly,
• Pro-active mindset,
• Willingness to speak your mind,
• Excellent written and spoken English (role will involve some international travel),
• Multi-functional and/or international business experience and advantage but not mandatory.
