Java Developer
We'are looking for Java Developer for our clinet from travel industry. Minimum 2 years of hands-on enterprise Java programming.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build quality code base with given standards
- Participate in requirements elicitation process defined in the project management plan to identify gaps/issues both functional and technical in order to come up with comprehensive requirements document
- Participate in the team for integration/system/performance testing based on integration and system test plans and support UAT in order to ensure defect free program/module/system release
- Participate in KT sessions, prepare and review system appreciation documents, understand application/system infrastructure dependencies, perform shadow support in order to complete transition
- Provides input to the story prioritization
- Attends scrum ceremonies
- Updates status in Rally on a daily basis
- Provides on-call coverage, following implementation, including warranty support
Technical and essential skills required:
- Java, Spring, Microservices, Spring framework, Linux/Unix operating system, very good understanding of json/rest, Kafka, Consul, Oracle, Couchbase, Redis, jmeter/performance engineering, Tomcat, Freemarker, SpringMVC, MOM queues, regular expression, ELK, curiosity and persistence
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience in Engineering the cloud system in Java
- Troubleshooting issues in test and production environments
- Cooperating with other development teams to deliver new capabilities
- Assist in development of software technical documentation
- Strong communication skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM)
- Cloud exposure Preferred GCP
