About the project
Our team is developing complex systems, which operate on vast amounts of data and are used by thousands of Nokia employees worldwide. You will be involved in development of advanced data processing mechanisms, storage capabilities and web applications which operate on data gathered from hundreds of mobile networks around the globe.
Ideal candidate would have worked with broad set of technologies, can quickly switch between technology stacks and is able to choose best ones for engineering tasks ahead. As a Lead Software Engineer you will provide technical guidance to the development team, propose solutions that satisfy both functional and non-functional requirements and you will take ownership of projects realized within the team. You will have a key role in shaping the way our products are developed and in making those products run smoothly every day
Responsibilities
- development of advanced data storage/processing/analysis mechanisms;
- providing technical guidance to the team;
- web applications development;
- requirements analysis;
- solution/architecture proposals.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in development, deployment and maintenance of scalable, cloud-native distributed systems;
- practical knowledge of distributed data processing frameworks;
- practical knowledge of web development (using various JS frameworks);
- strong communication and teamwork skills;
- knowledge of English.
