You'd be part of the largest international provider of business services in Romania for global customers.
Your new role
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you'll act as liaison between suppliers and engineering team to ensure supplier execution of manufacturing process plan and alignment of requirements to process capability.
You'll work with suppliers and quality focal points in the execution and will assure the PPAP elements. At the same time, you'll be responsible for providing Quality, simplification and process improvement leadership for site operations/projects and support the Quality Management system. Another important responsibility will be institutionalising Lean Six Sigma quality into process improvement, by acting as a change agent.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone with strong understanding of different manufacturing processes - Casting, Sheet Metal, Machining, Alloyed components etc. (preferably aviation industry) and understanding of part fitments & inventory management, experienced in Quality Management system - ISO and API standards and with knowledge of APQP / PPAP/ MSA.
If you are Six Sigma certified and have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, we’re already looking forward to meet you. The position is based in Bucharest-Romania, but you will need to travel up to 70% of the time.
