Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job description
This position is based in Stargard, Poland, and you will report to the General Manager at Radiometer Stargard. You must expect up to 60 days of travelling per year. Part of the first 6 months, you will have intensive training activities at Radiometer Medical in Denmark. To become successful, you must be enthusiastic and feel strongly for manufacturing engineering and excellence in the field of DFM.
Responsibilities
- Supporting other departments regarding specifications, requirements and function.
- NPI - Develop products in cooperation with R&D focusing on transfer and ensuring DFM (Design For Manufacturability).
- Full focus on cost requirements on the product during ramp-up.
- Supplier support, requirements, specifications, modeling tools in cooperation with other departments.
- Cooperating on development areas for sampler products.
- Ensuring high-quality in sampler production when ramping up big scale.
- Transferring clients’ needs & requirements into DFM process.
Requirements

At the moment, you are most likely working as a "Mechanical Engineer" within the industry or similar products. If you also possess most of the following formal qualifications, you might be exactly who we are looking for:
- Engineering degree at high level (B.Sc./M.Sc.), preferably within mechanics.
- Minimum five years’ experience from a similar position.
- Experience from plastic high-volume production.
- Strong cooperation and communication skills, across both functions and borders.
- Strong on stakeholder management and diplomacy.
- Proven experience with improvement of yield and reduction of manufacturing cycle time.
- Knowledge within lean and metrics management.
- Strong leadership skills – using indirect and direct influencing skills.
- Strong competencies within product development- Production planning - MPC - SQM DFM.
- Capable of driving many projects in parallel.
- Strong Excel user.
- Knowledge with PROE & AutoCAD.
- Polish fluently and English at a high level.
