For our international Client, FMCG manufacturer, we are currently searching for qualified manager, willing to join and lead manufacturing site as a Plant Manager. Following position might be sustainable career development for fluent in English individual, experienced as a production director, operations manager or in relevant role.
Job description
- Coordinate all operational aspects of production branch: Production, Maintenance, Quality, Materials Supply, Warehouse by leading directly team of four functional managers;
- Follows company proven methods and policies to ensure demanded performance indicators like product quality, efficiency, on-time delivery and employee safety;
- Sets and execute plans for efficient use of resources: machinery, materials and workforce;
- Verifies production costs, quality and review programs to develop profitable operations of the site;
- Negotiate with key resources and services supplier;
- Conduct machinery transfer, products transfer installation and team recruitment;
- Prepare and recommends site budget;
- Coordinate all relevant lean manufacturing actions;
- Shapes the desired attitude and motivation among unit;
- Ensure safe work environment.
Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering: mechanical, chemical or food processing educational background preferred;
- Minimum 10 years of total experienced and 5 years on a managerial position - experience in FMCG industry would be an advantage;
- Fluent in English and Polish, past international subordination will be strong asset;
- Willing to learn and implement established rules, methods and policies according to company best practices;
- Experienced in multi-shift production system, wide knowledge of quality standards;
- Strong leadership skills, ability to manage directly and indirectly group of 50 employees and more;
- Good knowledge in following fields: employee engagement and relations, operations, technical knowledge
- Able to create long-term business plans and strategy for unit;
- Accustomed to lean manufacturing philosophy, total quality management;
- Fast learner, strong analytical and mathematical skills;
- Willing to travel occasionally.
