Power Builder Programmer
PROJECT INFORMATION:
- Industry: Consulting.
- Type of project: New system development / maintenance.
- Remote work: Yes.
- Project language: English (required), Polish.
- Remuneration: up to 100 PLN/h + VAT.
- Project length: 3 months initially with possibility to extend.
- Start: ASAP.
- Assignment type: B2B.
REQUIREMENTS:
- System Engineer (Senior – also applicable).
- Working Experience in requirements analysis, design, code construction and Unit testing using Power Builder Tool (someone who has worked in version 8.0 or above should be good enough).
- Knowlege of Object-Oriented Programming and Power-Scripting, including compiling the code and building executables.
- Database Knowledge, Writing Complex SQLs and Stored Procedures (Depending on whether the application to be supported connects to Oracle/MySQL/Sybase database on the backend).
- English language skills: ability to have a technical conversation with other developers.
Nice to have:
- Java or .NET skills.
- Database development skills f. ex: T-SQL.
- Willingness to visit our Client’s office in Johannesburg for 2-3 weeks max (end of FEB/beginning of APR).
