Project Description:
As Project Manager - Service Management (Cloud Governance Function) you manage and rive relevant Stand-ups, Dependencies, Prep, Financial Mgmt and prepare OpCo, CloudCouncil, SteerCo under the Cloud Governance function and coordinate with other work stream leads and line organization of our Client.
Responsibilities
- Leading the project teams to ensure that the project delivery is executed and implemented according to the project plan under project management change management processes and service management processes
- Experience in implementing and managing projects in IT-infrastructure. Understanding of consumption models, performance stats on Cloud (preferably GCP), Service level agreements and management (SLAs), Implement SLA tracking mechanism for cloud applications.
- Responsible for ensuring delivery meets vision objectives by mapping dependencies, throughout project delivery, operating and contractual principles/vendor governance
- Relentless prioritization at multiple layers (Sub-stream leads, SME's, stakeholders etc.) through appropriate governance
- Planning of budget and investment forecasting of project and coordination with google counterparts if necessary
- Experience with Ex-Co level reporting and ensuring that relevant information is collected, analyzed, discussed and delivered to top management in order for them to be able to take decisions
- Implement agreed regular progress-reporting mechanisms for all projects and thereby monitor the routine progress of projects (incl. requirements, plans, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, deliverables, actions, costs, schedules, benefits), and assist the program /project manager in the preparation of the program status/project highlight reports.
- Design and support governance/reporting for programs or projects.
- Establish and maintain an information management system.
- Coordinate information about how programs and projects run the standard program or project management method, their progress and problems.
- Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile delivery methods and adheres to their standards.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience for agile project delivery, plus the associated experience of dealing with stakeholders and geographically diverse teams with driven technical change within a similar sized financial services organization.
- Strong knowledge of Service management, ITSM processes, infrastructure support models, Google cloud service and operations
