Our Client, an international automotive corporation starting up a manufacturing facility in Poland, is seeking to recruit an experienced candidates for the position of:
Quality Manager
South of Poland
The person will provide the leadership to guide the manufacturing team in the development, maintenance, and improvement of all quality systems. To include: Raw Materials, Materials in process, Final Inspection, In-Process Controls, Supplier Quality Assurance, Systems Auditing, Product Testing, Finished Goods Audit.
Responsibilities:
- Participation in the establishment and implementation of quality specifications, testing procedures and standards for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
- Develops process control procedures ensuring production of finished products meet quality specifications and standards.
- Provide Quality function leadership. Develops employees, instills continuous improvement, and drives expedient problem resolution activities.
- Leads root cause analysis problem solving efforts on product defects and recommends modifications.
- Assists vendors in establishing inspection standards to meet the company’s quality requirements and confers on specific quality problems.
- Reviews complaints or warranty claims received to determine where quality control emphasis should be placed at the plant to eliminate problems.
- Establishes and manages departmental budget and assists in the development of long range goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years manufacturing management/quality control experience.
- Very good knowlegde of English.
- Outstanding leadership, influence, and communication skills, excellent organizational skills.
- OEM or Tier 1 Automotive Experience is a plus.
