Project Description:
Do you enjoy working with developers and customers to deliver modern microservice based applications? Are you comfortable working in a scrum team together with other developers, supporting them and deliver technical excellence in a global organization?
We are looking for an experienced developer, who has built and lead the development of applications with modern technology.
You will be part of the Finance technology team. The teams are global based in Switzerland, UK, EMEA, APAC, US and India.
Responsibilities
You will be required to:
- Work with several agile teams on an application built with microservices and event based architecture deployed to the cloud (preferrable experience with MS Azure).
- Analyze functional requirements, design and implement solution
- Participate in technical design of application components in distributed / web platform
- Code, test, and deploy application components with local and offshore developers within a scrum team
- Responsible for delivering high quality code in production
- Work with test engineers to ensure to ensure high quality software
Skills
Your experience and skills
You have:
- Strong understanding of object oriented principles and good design principles
- Experience on UI frameworks like Node/React/Typescript and cloud
- Knowledge on Spring boot and Spring ecosystem with core, rest services, MVC, security, JPA
- Experience on automation and integration testing with frameworks like Junit/Mockito/cucumber/Selenium in java
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, data modeling and associations
- Prior experience on dealing with high volumes of data and analysis, display on grids
- Source code management techniques / build tools for software management (GITlab/Gradle/Maven)
- Hands-on experience with RESTful services
- Experience of Micro service architecture can be an added advantage
- Experience of using Redis cache , BPMN tools like Flowable is plus
