On behalf of our Client for newly located in Cracow risk team we are looking for Candidate for the position of Risk Modeling & Analytics Specialist. The team is responsible for the development, maintenance and application of stress testing framework for assessing the impact of global macro-economic scenarios on the firm’s profitability and capital adequacy. The framework captures all risk types across all businesses world-wide. The team develops and maintains a suite of scenario-aligned risk category stress models and supports diverse other stress-related activities.


Working on this position you would be responsible for maintenance and further development of stress testing methodologies, e.g. in the areas of Funding Risk, Pension Risk, Country Risk, and Operational Risk. On a daily basis you will analyze diverse portfolios and risks under stressed conditions. You will act also as a support the development of macro-economic scenarios and the evolution of specific risk factors.

To be successful in this role, the candidate needs to be fluent in English and possess amazing communication skills. PhD or at least Master’s Degree in an applied quantitative discipline is necessary. We required also hand on experience in application of statistical and econometric methods as well as excellent knowledge in use of statistical software (e.g. SAS, R, Stata, Matlab). Working on this position also you must be business-oriented, have constructive attitude to solving problems and work efficiently under time pressure. Also, creativity and helpful approach is appreciated for this role.
