Currently we’re looking for: Senior Application Developer
LOCATION: Belgium (Brussels)

JOB TYPE: contract
TASKS:
• Understand and analyse user requirements in close collaboration with the IRM project management team
• Make use of Commission technologies for application's development
• Design, implementation and maintenance of web and multi-tier applications
• Development and integration of technological components
• Implementation of user requirements
• Prototyping
• Database design and database integration with applications
• Systematically testing and debugging new and/or existing applications and implement changerequests
• Definition of test scenarios in close collaboration with the IRM project management team
• Producing appropriate technical documentation
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the applications and the databases
• Participation in meetings with project teams
• Provide on request training to the users
SKILLS:
• In depth knowledge of application development environments
• Excellent knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier applications and continuous build / continuous integration experience
• Experience developing on multiple browsers including responsive web design
• Good knowledge of front end technologies
• Experience with enterprise applications architectures (e.g. SOA, Cloud)
• Strong professional experience in relational database systems
• Good knowledge of modelling tools (e.g. UML)
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, AGILE)
• Capability of using both English and French languages in the working environment
• Capability and experience in working in team
• Good knowledge of the following products/technologies:
o Java
o ColdFusion
o Java EE (EJB, RMI, JMS, JAX-RPC)
o JSP
o Oracle RDBMS
o SQL
o PL/SQL
o JDBC
o HTML5
o Javascript, jQuery
o XML
o SOAP
o WebAPI (REST)
