Senior Compliance Manager for APAC Human Resources

For one of our clients we are looking for Senior Compliance Manager for APAC Human Resources, who will play a lead and visible role in implementing and executing a compliance oversight model for APAC Global Human Resources. Job responsibilities will support the requirements of the Global Compliance Policy.

Global Compliance Policy requirement activities include regulatory change management: Identify, assess impact, maintain inventory, communicate and report on applicable laws, rules and regulations (both US and International) for Global HR; Perform Compliance Risk Assessments for applicable business processes; Develop and perform monitoring and testing of GHR business processes or controls; Develop and evaluate metrics for GHR monitoring and testing activities; Identify, escalate and remediate compliance risks and issues; Establish and execute APAC HR Compliance reporting for governance and management routines; Maintain compliance policies to ensure they reflect current regulatory requirements.

We are looking for someone with experience in an Employee Relations, or legal role with deep knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations that align to APAC Human Resources.
Strong knowledge of Global Human Resources applicable laws, rules and regulations is a must as well as strong interpersonal skills; able to engage and influence senior LOB executives, senior compliance partners, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships.
Strong communication skills that include excellent listening and presentation skills; able to effectively communicate complex information, influence with impact and offer practical solutions are welcome. Analytical skills with ability to timely identify issues, escalate and mitigate to minimize compliance risk; able to understand.
Senior Compliance Manager will represent GHR Compliance on a variety of enterprise committees and due to the confidential nature of the role must demonstrate professionalism, tact and discretion at all times.
