- Leading technical project team working collaboratively with functional team members;
- Being part of the overall program team and provide clear and fast communication at PDRMs, PUMs CDMO meetings and/or to the Joint Project Committee or partner as applicable;
- Being accountable for the CMC portion of the program budget;
- Being responsible for developing strategic and operational technical development plans and contribute technical know-how into the overall program plan for respective program with the objective to optimize value, time, resources and risks (translate the CDMO contract into workpackages and handle scope changes throughout the project execution);
- Leading scenario generation, contingency planning, conflict resolution and the process of decision-making within the team;
- Driving team members to create thoroughly evaluated recommendations for decision-making;
- Drawing the clear thread between functional departments to be able to provide a clear understanding of the implications of topics across departments;
- Being the interface to all technical aspects of the program to senior management and the partner as applicable;
- Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and CDMO clients or partners
- Customer site visits (e.g., audits, PIP);
- Utilizing project management tools to enable clear dashboard reporting on program;
- Being accountable for executing the program in time, quality and cost;
- Ensuring continuous close alignment with the respective non-technical program manager for the same program as applicable;
- Supporting BD team in the proposal preparation process (working packages description, budget and timelines) and in agreements negotiations (technical part);
- Coordinating and supervising external service providers (outsourced packages such as formulation development, virus spiking, MCB/WCB generation) including legal aspects (CDAs, MSAs).
- At least 7 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry (at least some of which must have been working with biologics and/or biosimilars) of which minimum 3 years should be in project management;
- Excellent knowledge of technical development from cell line generation to Commercial GMP Manufacturing;
- Experience in project management as a member of a cross-functional project team;
- Fluency in English;
- Good knowledge of MS Office and MS Project;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including senior management focus;
- Advanced planning skills and expert skills to facilitate / optimize contribution of team members as individuals and members of a cohesive team;
- Ability to prioritize and deliver against timelines;
- Strong leadership and expert team management skills;
- Orientation towards collaboration and aligned decision-making;
- Ability to influence and drive decisions forward;
- Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM or equivalent) preferred;
- Life science degree is a plus (e.g., biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, chemistry);
- PMP qualification is a plus.
