Join our Engineering (Renewable Power System) team as an Software Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional, to join our Industrial Turbomachinery Systems Electronics Group and participate in design process of modern industrial electronics hardware.
- C / C++ software coding for multiprocessor platforms
- Implementation of control algorithms on digital processor platforms, including FPGA, fixed-point and soft-core solutions
- Verification and validation of control algorithms software for IGBT frequency converters
- Definition, execution and reporting of equivalent test procedures
- Use of the Woodward SCM & Release Management System
- Support the Product Life Cycle Management of the converter product range within the engineering department
- Implementation of automated test procedures
- Participation in international and multi-site projects
- Master / Engineer degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Experience in software testing on real time operating systems
- Basic know how of electrical energy technology, power electronics, electrical machines and relevant control algorithms
- Competent skills in problem solving and trouble-shooting
- Ability to effectively operate in the team-work environment and communicate with team members
- Solid communication skills
- Strong English language skills
- German is seen as an advantage
