For our client, global consumer goods company, we are looking for

SSC Finance & Accounting Manager

Within this role You would oversee F&A processes within shared service center and provide strategic goals and targets to shared service center staff, manage and control F&A systems and staff members to prepare reports for management, supporting documentation for stakeholders and various government reports. You would also perform analytical review to test for reasonableness and provide comments and fluctuations and responses to questions. Person working in this role will be also responsible for participating on cross-functional teams as an accounting expert related to work performed by the SSC, managing and coaching staff members to perform functions efficiently and effectively and act as first line communication contact for the functional F&A area. What is more you will also work on process improvements, assist with staff selection and development and coach supervisors and facilitate training opportunities. One of the responsibility for this role will be also to supervise month end, quarterly, and year end book close and audit support.

Perfect candidate should hold at least Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field and at least 6 years’ experience in finance and accounting. You should also have strong analytical and technical accounting skills and at least 3 years’ experience in people management. Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and understanding of accounting systems and processes is also required. Successful candidate should also be proficient in English, know Web-based applications and working knowledge of business finance system platforms (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).

Experience in F&A shared service center, consumer packaged goods industry and French language skills would be an asset.
