Position: Summer Trainee – Integration Engineer
Daily activities:
As a summer trainee in the Fixed Networks team you will:
- Gain general knowledge of Fixed Network solutions, Broadband Network, different PONs (Passive Optical Network) types implementation
- Work with the mentor and the team on your own project
- Learn how to configure network equipment
- Get familiar with Network Management Systems
- Test solutions in testbeds
- Create/validate technical documentation
- Use agile methods and the environment to work on solutions
- Apply and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tools evolution and improvements.
- Behave as an innovator. Suggests improvements and seeks opportunities for innovation. Demonstrates initiative & adaptability to changing business environments.

- Good knowledge of broadband telecommunication technologies (XDSL, GPON)
- IP Basics
- Services basics: HSI, VoiP, IPTV
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel, Power Point
- Desirable:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Efficiently navigating in Linux systems on the user level, executing scripts and managing files
