System Support Engineer

Job description
- Provide 2nd level of technical support to Alcatel-Lucent customers
- Resolve TTs related to the mentioned systems, tickets escalated by GNOC level1 or Customer Care service
- Handle alarms, solve incidents and problems
- Perform fulfillment activities, ie. implement work orders related to Configuration Management
- Design and develop software scripts (UNIX/LINUX environment) for automatic tasks (customer data analysis, automatic preventive maintenance, etc.)
- Analyze platforms performance and statistics to ensure their continuous availability
Requirements
- university degree in computer, telecommunication sciences or equivalent but also graduate-class students are welcomed
- good English (both verbal and written)
- very good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
- good understanding of telecommunication and computer networks
- excellent work planning, managing and organizing skills
- good communication and interpersonal skills
