For our client, global consumer goods company which is opening new centre in Prague, Czech Republic , we are looking for:

Team Leader, General Ledger

Within this role You would be responsible for overseeing a financial reporting team within the company’s Shared Service Centre, managing staff members to prepare various financial reports for management, audit schedules and reports. You would also manage and review month end closing, reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accurate financial liability recording for the company as well as participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives and act as the front line communication for the financial reporting team. What is more, you would perform analytical reviews, liaise with multiple stakeholders and vendors to ensure issues are identified, tracked and resolved in a timely manner and assist with staff selection, training, development and performance management.

Perfect candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in a finance and accounting department, hold at least Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. You should also have strong accounting and analytical skills and at least 3 years’ experience in people management. Project management and process improvement skills are also desirable. Solid understanding of accounting systems and processes and strong technology skills, including PC and WEB-based applications with a working knowledge of business finance system platforms (Excel, SAP) and proficiency in both written and spoken English are also required.
