- Reviewing supplier and factory compliance to Tesco’s technical and quality standards and ensuring they are trained on these on time
- Implementing strategic and operational plans for our products and suppliers to conform to our policies, standards and specifications. Participating in relevant workstream projects.
- Leading, developing and coaching the production technologist and QC team
- Monitor the performance of the production technical and QC teams against KPIs, defining and implementing corrective action plans
- To supervise and coach the Technologist – Production to approve and sign-off Green Seal samples
- according to quality, safety and legal standards
- To supervise and coach the Technologist – Production to carry out pre-production meetings so that the factory has a clear understanding of the production process, ensuring that all relevant components are available for bulk production
- Reviewing factory capacity and consolidation
- Work on my personal development plan
- Handling Ad-hoc and Special Projects
- Providing support to the team members of Technical Department
- Taking extra responsibilities

- 5 years of relevant experience in international sourcing
- Experience in general merchandise manufacturing
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and ability to drive people to achieve business goals
- Excellent team player
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- No restrictions to travel
