Main tasks and responsibilities:
We offer:
The Documentation department makes end-user documentation for dynamic positioning, automation and safety systems. Our end-user documentation includes information for installation, operation and maintenance and comprises both printed and online information.
Requirements:
- Either experience in technical writing and an engineering background, or are an engineer with good writing skills.
- Able to independently make end-user documentation based on existing technical drawings and technical information.
- Able to communicate information at an appropriate level for the intended user.
- Clear, correct and concise English.
- Knowledge of XML and the XML editor Arbortext is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is an advantage.
- Development of documentation for Dynamic Positioning systems - installation and maintenance information.
- Registering of third-party documentation in our Product Lifecycle Management system.
- Configuration of user documentation for projects and upgrades.
