Location: Bydgoszcz
Role Description
The key purpose of the role is to carry out the network design, build and deploy as well as provisioning, configuration and troubleshooting of Transmission Network Elements.
The solutions will be based on variety of vendors such as Nokia, Infinera, Ciena.
Main areas of responsibility
The main responsibilities include
- Collation of existing customer network solution and associated design and configuration data
- Complete understanding of provisioning in a transmission network environment
- Delivery of transmission devices designing, deployment and provisioning procedures
- Work with field engineers to ensure configuration is installed, error free and ready for testing
- Adherence to network security access policies and procedures
- Drive all the activities needed to define new service during CAPABILITY BUILD phase of the project
- MOP’s and Work Instructions development according to Service Engineering Standards during CAPABILITY BUILD phase of the project
- Cooperation with Process Engineer regarding migration process definition for new projects
Your Credentials
- Ability to perform to a consistently high level under pressure
- Good understanding of transmission network environment
- Experience of working in a virtual team environment
- Experience of service provider and enterprise operational structures and processes
Key Skills and Experience
- Candidate must have advanced optical networking skills including but not limited to CWDM/DWDM technologies
- In-depth knowledge of wide range of transmission equipment such as Nokia, Infinera, Ciena
- 3+ experience in designing Transmission Network solutions
- Strong Transmission equipment configuration and troubleshooting skills
- CCNA is a plus
- TX Vendors certifications are in plus
- Excellent communication skills verbal & written
- Good analytical skills
