For our partner, a multinational medical technology company in Wroclaw, we are looking for a Windows Virtual Desktop Engineer so support on ad hoc basis.
location: Remote Poland
- We have several initiatives, some of them include working for around 300 standard office users with few additional desktop applications of a newly acquired company
- Deliver desktop version of Excel to tablet users
- Deliver VDI to manufacturing site
- Patch/Upgrade and move current WVD’s to different subscription or create new WVD’s
- Install additional business desktop applications and configure GPO’s if needed (no more than 10)
- Onboard 300 users into VDI
- Solid experience in a similar role
- Deep knowledge of Windows desktop and linked technologies; Windows 10, Windows 7, GPOs, native Microsoft Windows management features, PC hardware, desktop builds, Windows application management, software licensing, and asset management
- Fluency in English
- Valid EU / PL work permit
- Fully remote role
