Application Operations Specialist (International Units)

We are looking for a L2 supporter for applications in Nordea international branches. This is an opportunity for you to collaborate internationally with specialists on a large application portfolio and in close collaboration with developers and business. Our technical platforms are Windows and IBMi with dedicated configuration for each of 5 international Nordea Wholesale Branches.

Your future responsibilities
You’ll join Trading Technology Operations, where we support applications for branches in Singapore, Shanghai, Frankfurt, London and New York. Our aim is to stabilise and automate through DevOps approach.
What you’ll be doing:
- Daily monitoring and incident handing
- Deployment to preprod and prod
- Taking part in new developments
- Improving application flows and integrations
- Continuous knowledge sharing within the Team
- Maintaining documentation of operational procedures
The role is based in Gdańsk. Welcome to an international team supporting applications and platforms across 7 countries and several regulators.

Your profile and background:
- You are able to communicate effectively and manage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong communicator + Open and honest communication with stakeholders on all levels +
- You know how to organize your work and value team work
- You are eager to learn and work across platforms and applications
- You have fundamental SQL knowledge as well as Windows platform experience
- You have experience executing support based on ITIL processes
- IBMi platform knowledge and experience in driving small scale projects would be your big advantage
- You speak English fluently
