Application Support Engineer (IM)

Responsibilites
- Supporting users with the day-to-day use of Integration Manager solution
- Answering support tickets via service desk and email
- Logging user requests and execute first prioritisation of issues as a central point of contact for any issues related to the Integration Manager solution
- Resolving of L1/L2 issues, detailed analysis of issues that need escalation to L3
Requirements
- • Experience with L2 banking/trading applications support
- Readiness for on-call duties, evening and mornings shifts
- Basic knowledge of change and deployment management
- Experienced with Linux and standard unix tools (grep, awk, sed, bash, etc)
- Basic understanding of network protocols and message-oriented middleware
- Basic Java and Python knowledge would be a plus
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a fast learner and a great team player
- Agile mindset and knowledge of the Atlassian toolset
- Problem-solving attitude, motivated by challenges and learning new thing
- Disciplined, structured and self-motivated
- Excelling in managing time and priorities
- Strong interest in the financial market
- Very good English
- Very good communication skills

The Application Support Engineer will be part of a team who undertake tasks, diagnose and find solutions to any issues that may arise. The team is responsible for supporting our Customer's core messaging solution and will require you to interact with people at different levels within the Customer's units.
