Application Support Engineer

Responsibilites
- Supporting users with the day-to-day use of Sungard's Front Arena solution
- Answering support tickets via service desk and email
- Logging user requests and execute first prioritisation of issues as a central point of contact for any issues related to the Front Arena platform
- Resolving of L1/L2 issues, detailed analysis of issues that need escalation to L3
- Managing team of L2 maintenance engineers, and interacting with managers
- Monitoring and managing SLA’s and team performance metrics
Requirements
- Experience with L2 banking/trading applications and user support
- Readiness for on-call duties, evening and mornings shifts
- Basic Python and Java technical skills
- Basic knowledge of change and deployment management
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a fast learner and a great team player
- Agile mindset and extensive knowledge of the Atlassian toolset
- Problem-solving attitude, motivated by challenges and learning new thing
- Disciplined, structured and self-motivated
- Excelling in managing time and priorities
- Strong interest in the financial market
- Fluent English
