The Global Architecture and Delivery Processes (GADP) group is looking for bright, highly motivated and self-driven Computer Science graduates to contribute to the automation of Atos Software Defined Data Centre portfolio offering. The candidate will eventually be responsible for the customisation of existing automated Standard Service Requests (SSR) as well as the creation of new innovative SSRs meeting specific customer requirements during pilot and production deployments.
The role will provide ample room for development through class based training as well as “learning by doing” exploiting state of the art technologies and providing an opportunity for skills development as part of an established and multi-disciplinary team.
Key responsabilities:
Once fully trained, the candidates will be expected to perform the following:
- Develop, test low level automation workflows using selected programming languages and tooling
- Produce all the artefacts required as part of ATLM framework to ensure operational readiness
Works closely with deployment, project teams, vendors and GADP to:
- Advise on feasibility, effort and timeline of customisation work
- Develop, test and document customisations
- Integrate customisations into the customer landscape and handover to support Towers and customer stakeholders
- Contribute innovative ideas for the creation of new automated standard service requests
Maintains release management of ATLM artefacts on the basis of:
- Feedback from on the field deployments
- Feedback as a result of MI/escalations
- Vendor’s best practice changes
- Keeps abreast of key technology developments through collaboration with GADP development teams, strategic vendors and attending industry events and training as required
- A first class degree in Computer Science/science subjects
- Experience with Java/javascript as well as REST/XML
- Knowledge of the following would be advantageous:

- Familiarity with DevOps & Agile principles
- A reasonable level of planning and reporting skills
- A huge appetite to learn new technologies
