As an BI System Support & Developer you will be part of a team supporting global IFS solution with end usersacross 3 continents. Part of the role is to maintain and develop reports inline with the company's BI structure and being part of projects implementinge.g. new IFS functionality or other systems integrating with IFS. A big part ofthese projects is also to handle change management as new business processesare implemented. You will also be providing support to internal users of theERP system on technical issues, user management, ad hock reports.
The role offers a very versatile workingenvironment with very varied tasks and assignments.
Primary Job Functions:
- work with cases in the internal IFS SharePoint helpdesk portal
- register and follow up cases registered with external IFS support (3rdline)
- development of SQL based reports based on request from super users
- maintain and develop the BI solution
- maintain and develop the data warehouse
- creating "self-help" documentation for users
- creation of new user accounts including security roles
- working on projects implementing new systems and business processes
- testing modifications and fixes prior to release into the liveenvironment
- help maintain other 3rd Party Software Systems
- set up and monitor EDI solutions
- handling system integrations.
- higher education in IT/Technical
- experience working with SQL data warehouse creating tables, views andstored procedures
- experience developing reports using Microsoft Reporting Services and/orQlikView
- excellent ERP system knowledge (preferable IFS platform) and experiencefrom the manufacturing business
- advanced Excel skills (most preferable knowledge of VBA)
- excellent written and spoken English skills
