Big Data QA Engineer / Test Engineer

Description:
For our Customer - Scandinavian financial organization, we are looking for QA Engineer / Test Engineer in Big Data area.
Your responsibilities:
- Perform automation of Acceptance, Unit, Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Performance and Security testing on Hadoop and other Big Data Platforms.
- Automate tests where possible and are repeatable and reliable.
- Work closely with Development team, Release Engineer and Product Management in a Continuous Delivery environment to improve efficiency and effectiveness of automation.
Requirements:
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of: Atlassian Suite (Bamboo, JIRA, Fisheye, Sonar, Git/Stash), Test framework (Robot, jMeter, jUnit, dbUnit), Configuration management (Puppets / Chef), Hadoop (YARN, Ambari, MR, Sqoop, Flume), Streaming technologies (Spark, Storm, Ni-Fi), Hadoop security (AD, Knox, Ranger, Kerberos, Sentry), Java, Scala, Python.
- Knowledge of English is a must (ability to read documentation as well as participating actively in meetings and writing responses to tickets, mails).
Furthermore, you should have:
- Extensive experience in Continuous Integration and Automated Testing.
- Experience in automated testing on software platforms and large-scale data (it is a must).
- Excellent communication skills and experience of distributed global teams.
- Proficiency in managing automated functional and non-functional testing on large scale data infrastructure.
- Experienced in Data warehouse / Big data application testing.
- Solid grounding in Financial Service.
- You are a natural in navigating in a complex environment within the Big Data area and a data driven thinker.
