Big Data (Scala) Developer
… to join work with the newest Big Data technology and design global reporting solutions on Hadoop.
Key functions:
- Design and implementation reporting solutions on Hadoop Platform
- Developing high-performing, flexible, robust, scalable and easily maintainable global solutions
- Working in small teams (7-8 team members)
- Working in Agile
- Delivering reports to 10M customers
- Cooperating with Machine Learning, Robotics and Cloud Computing teams
Experience / Qualifications required:
- Knowledge and experience of Scala, Apache Spark and Hadoop
- Experience and understanding of distributed systems
- Knowledge of SQL (Linux Shell Script, Hive, Kafka as a plus)
- Basic knowledge about functional programming
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools
- Good spoken and written English
