Ensuring that services and software platforms and infrastructure are able to deliver the agreed capacity and performance targets in a cost effective and timely manner, a part of a team of Delivery Managers.
Managing physical and virtual capacity optimally and efficiently.
Acting as expert for technical and business concepts, practices and procedures related to data warehouse architectures and concepts will be critical in solution development, implementation and automation of new capacity management capabilities.
Identifying gaps between systems, tools, and operations and suggest optimal implementations.
Continually looking for opportunities to increase efficiencies in all capacity management areas while meeting the ever increasing demand from our business partners.
Developing of capacity management plans.
Working with other operations team members to generate capacity reports, evaluate alarms and thresholds indicators that may have impacts to overall IT services.
Ensuring appropriate capacity monitoring is implemented and functional.
Reviewing IT processes and procedures for support of capacity management requirements.
Supporting problem escalations and proactive activities to prevent services interruptions and/or improve IT services.
Defining & monitoring key Capacity Management performance indicators and undertake appropriate actions to avoid shortages & downtime
Ensuring that support SLAs, OLAs and UIC are strictly adhered to.
Facilitating bridging the gaps between delivery teams.
Driving rapid recovery during incidents.
Determining capacity requirements from the business for new or enhanced IT Services.
Promoting Capacity Management awareness and understanding within the IT support organization
Management of archiving and updating operational documentation and procedures for services, applications and processes.
3 years of experience as team member or team lead in IT Service Organization, working with Capacity Management or Availability processes and correlating ITIL processes, including specifying, designing, and implementing deployment strategies for scaled IT infrastructures.
Strong sense of ownership of IT services quality, and customer orientation, ability to proactively follow up on customer issues.
Strong ITSM processes orientation.
Experience in working within financial sector is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.
Excellent communication skills in English – listening, verbal and written – including meeting management and facilitation.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred candidates with IPMA, Prince 2 or PMI certifications, ITIL certification.
BA / BS in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent experience
Experience working as an IT Project Manager is not mandatory but preferred.
