Summary of General Manager role:
To succeed in this role you will have significant management level experience in the hospitality / leisure industry or in a membership based business. You will be experienced in motivating a team, delivering exceptional customer service and financial results. Above all we are looking for commercial flair and excellent communication and organization skills.
You will be reporting directly to the Area Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- manage the day-to-day operations of the club
- ensure first class customer services, at all times
- exceed budgeted profitability and deliver year on year growth
- drive the sales of membership, personal training and related income streams
- manage the facilities to ensure a safe, high quality environment, always exceeding our customer’s expectations
- recruit and manage your team to our high professional standards
- network and market to local businesses and the local community
- drive member engagement and retention for the club
