Analyze business and technical requirements, as well as existing data models and reports, to understand the detailed data management requirements.
Conduct data profiling, data cleansing, and specify business and data rules for automation.
- Create conceptual, logical and physical data and metadata models to represent data.
- Propose solution to the business and take the responsibility to follow up its implementation.
- Interpret and assist clients with the design of data governance strategies for business requirements and enhance the maturity of the organization. *Navigate through the client’s organization and coordinate with other departments to build big data IT processes *Coordinate with data source departments and manage data sourcing and data integration processes
Support marketing/sales activities to pursue and shape opportunities for work.
- Help clients envision architecture and standards for data lakes, data warehouse/marts, and in-memory and multidimensional databases utilizing industry best practices.
- Assist with proof of concepts to demonstrate and impact of new technology and ideas.
- leverage components & tools used in data access, profiling & movement
- Design and create test or mock data.
- 3+ years' experience in technology solutions or business consulting.
- Solid analytical skills, the ability to use data analysis and management tools to interpret and consolidate information from multiple sources to execute effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work holistically during solution design and requirements management
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with various levels of technical and business stakeholders up to and including C-level.
- Demonstrated passion for data and analytics.
- Working knowledge of Big Data or Modern Data (Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence) platforms and their implementation.
- Excellent organization and planning skills - demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, to manage multiple tasks, work in agile manner‚ and work independently or as a team.
- Business domain knowledge in at least one industry and ability to create thorough data requirements.
- Familiarity with the application of master data, data quality and data governance processes in commercial environments highly desirable.

As a Data Analyst you will be an integral part of the team, working directly with business users and working in the data systems to analyze and profile data sources, identify and validate business rules and translate functional and non-functional features and data requirements into actionable work effort for the engineers. You will often have to discover and analyze data in support of requirements and assist in modeling data schemas, interface contracts and prototype data visualizations. In addition, having the ability to integrate , aggregate and visualize data using a variety of tools and languages will be very important - you ideally will have some familiarity with traditional BI or data analysis tools and scripting languages.
To be successful you should be comfortable in translating business process and information needs into technical requirements. You should be comfortable with drilling into relational and non-relations data sources and reverse engineering code to derive business rules. You should have a working understanding of new and existing data processing technologies and visualization tools and as well as a strong expertize in one or more data orientated languages such as SQL, Python or R.
