- Analysis of the source data and business requirement specifications and transformation, through analysis and understanding of core financial processes and how the data maps to these processes
- Source file attributes mapping to target entities and attributes, identify transformation rules, filters, etc.
We are looking for an experienced profile with 8+ years of experience from a similar environment preferably within the financial sector.
- Good Knowledge about Data warehouse, dimensional and 3NF modeling and working with a modeling tool such as Erwin
- Experience developing data models based on a Business Informational Model
- Following principles, guidelines and approaches for the modeling, and processes to ensure compliance.
- Creating and implementing the physical design, relationships between data entities, create the data mappings to load the physical model.
- Reviewing data stores and processing methods and ensure that the applications and data assets run sufficiently and effectively.
- Responsible for progressing and maintaining the official description of the data and data formation.
- Good ETL/SQL programming skills.
We are looking for a Data Modeller with expertise in Banking and Data warehousing for the Group Treasury IT Solutions. This project involves building a data warehouse which will serve as a common data repository for Treasury & Asset and Liability Management (TALM).
The project is about simplifying TALM's infrastructure and aligning with GFC while also addressing new regulatory & business demand, e.g. liquidity, and IFRS 9.
You will work closely with other team members on this project, our business partners and with our extended offshore team members in India. .
