Welcome to the Core Technology Partnering team. We add value by providing close financial support towards Core Technology, effectively acting as a bridge between IT and Finance. We are considered a proactive and reliable partner for all our stakeholders both within IT, Finance and across the bank. As a Senior IT Business Controller, you’ll play a valuable role in driving management reports, identifying and implementing improvements, securing profitability analysis, forecasting and cost analysis, and driving monthly/quarterly analysis that gives insight to key performance drivers, etc. You are further expected to see and drive ad hoc tasks and improvement initiatives both within the team and together with stakeholders across Nordea.
What you’ll be doing:
- Monthly reporting including deviation analysis, forecasting and cost follow-up within IT
- Drive adhoc tasks, improvements and cost transparency
- Data analysis and investment calculations, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Drive dialogue between management, IT Specialists and Finance, securing financial transparency and alignment of financial targets
- Support management with ad-hoc requests, e.g. cost deep-dives, financial scenario preparation, etc.
You’ll join a team focused primarily on financial support for the Cyber Security area. The role is based in Gdynia, but the team consists of 11 persons and is currently located in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Gdynia. We collaborate with colleagues in all Nordic countries and Poland. Our working language is English.

Your experience and background:
- Analytical skills, able to operate both deep within the details but also able to see the big picture, when working with both numerical and verbal data
- High drive with an interest to learn and develop
- Good networking and communication skills
- In-depth experience in using Microsoft Excel
- Experience of Power Query, SQL and/or programming are meriting
- Degree (Master or Bachelor) in Engineering, Business Administration or Finance
- Five years of relevant experience
- A fluent level of both verbal and written English
