ERP Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end ERP implementation initiative. This is a highly visible role that will own the project from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery. It covers day to day responsibilities including initiating projects, gathering requirements, developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status report, as well as partnering with Department Leaders in the organization to ensure outcomes are met.
- Providing overall leadership for ERP implementation project
- Engaging and organizing the assignment of activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project estimates, task dependencies and schedule
- Managing stakeholders and multiple project teams in the context of a single project.
- Establishing a project plan that is suitable to the size and scope of each assigned project
- Identifying gaps in system functionality, compared to requirements
- Translating requirements into ERP configurations, depending on software
- Identifying and coordinating data conversion and interfaces
- Leading user testing and acceptance
- Tracking and reporting on project budget
- Providing advisory services to support change management for the organization
- Tracking project progress and providing regular status reports to project sponsors and other executives as appropriate
- Escalating project issues and identifying potential setbacks in a timely manner
- Developing a risk management plan
- Maintaining all project artifacts
- Hands on functional knowledge of at least one SAP 4/HANA implementation
- Industry experience
- Knowledge of project management tools
- Balanced business/technical background
- Strong customer orientation
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Attention to details and focus on quality
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical staff
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
- Proven ability to lead successful technology implementation project
- Good English
- You must have been an active team member or PM on at least 3 full-cycle ERP implementations
- Software Selection and Platform Strategy experience is a plus
