An international federation of project management associations is searching for an Global Events Manager starting on 01.01.2019. As such you will co-ordinate all international events and be responsible for the successful delivery of these events. You will drive the execution and fulfilment of all events, working with a team of volunteering professionals. This extends from increasing the viability and profitability of existing events to attracting new global keynote speakers.

You are fluent in English and speak either Spanish, French, German or Russian. More languages are a plus. You have a unique blend of business, a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. You enjoy working with experts, volunteers in a truly international environment. You find innovative solutions with a wide range of different stakeholders. You will define and monitor KPIs for events, events organisers and the event delivery organisations

- Coordinates all international events, espacialy:
- World Congress (yearly)
- Research Conference (yearly)
- Events of the various special interest groups
- Successful delivery of the events
- Defines and monitors KPIs for the events, the events organisers and the delivery organisation(s)
- Plans, supports and evaluate events
- Keeps regular contact with various stakeholders
- Supports local Member Associations in managing local and regional events
- Organises global sponsoring
- Attracts global key note speakers
- Supports sales of the events
- SPoC for local events organisers (project manager), and for global sponsoring
- Works closely with the global marketing and communication manager
- At least has been responsible for one successful big global event
- Has contacts or experience in working with / researching of events partner agencies
- Successfully worked off-line and independently
- Lives and works in a place close to an international airport in reasonable flight distance (max 2 hours flight time) from major European airports
- Readiness to travel approx. twice a month, work in other time zones and occasionally on weekends
- Fluent in English and either Spanish, French, German or Russian; more languages are a plus
- Education in the field of marketing and/or events management, or adequate qualifications as events manager (with diploma)
