- Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple products
- Work closely on a high-performing, experienced, Agile development team to design, develop and enhance a state-of-the-art deployment pipeline to allow for rapid development, deployment and testing
- Collaborate closely with the development team during design and implementation to ensure testability, deployment consistency, scalability, and 100% service uptime
- Work closely with the architects to brainstorm, design and implement technical build and deployment solutions
- Work with the QA Team to automate and test new deployment software
- Develop an automated build and test system using containers technology (Docker)
- Build out the scripts and configuration needed to automate deployment in different environments (dev, test, production), using platforms like Puppet
- Produce clear installation and deployment guides
- Establish a proactive application monitoring environment
- Create an environment where product upgrades can take place with near zero maintenance window
- Continual maintenance and improvement of automation
Mandatory:
- Docker containers under Unix\Linux
- Unix/Linux:
o Proficient with Linux and standard unix tools (grep, awk, sed, bash, etc)
o Scripting (bash)
- Good written and spoken English
Nice to have:
- Python/Perl
- Monitoring: Zabbix, Geneos
- DB/SQL
- Basic DDL and DML skills
- No need for DBA profile, but nice if DBA skills present
- Programming experience
You will be a part of the distributed financial reporting team doing replacement of existing Trading General Ledger (processing of market values and balances for the trading data warehouse) with a new TGL engine, which will cover both PL and cash postings and balances and will be a technological basis to support for daily and end of period finance processes. New TGL engine is supposed to be near real-time, and processing large-scale data amounts.

Team runs in Agile / Scrum model. As for tooling generally Atlassian stack (Stash/Bitbucket, Bamboo, Artifactory, JIRA, Confluence etc) is used. The main relational database is Oracle
