Intercompany Accountant

About the job:
As our new Accountant within A2R Group Accounting, you will work closely with other members of the team and stakeholders in a variety of tasks and activities related to the intercompany process.
Specifically, you will:
- Perform monthly closing intercompany procedures
- Monitor the intercompany close process ensuring all intercompany entries are booked and out of balances are resolved with our stakeholders
- Reconcile intercompany balance sheet accounts, following up on reconciling items to ensure timely resolution of underlying transactions or issues (e.g. GRIR)
- Follow-up on open intercompany items to ensure on-time payment
- Support with set up of intercompany invoicing, cross-company postings, and sundry invoicing
- Participate in projects and analysis related to automation, digitalization, centralization, and standardization of Intercompany processes
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Support internal and external audits
Who are you?
- You have 1-2 years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting, or IT
- You understand end-to-end financial operations for Intercompany processes
- You have good knowledge of SAP system (Finance)
- You have strong analytical skills and good communication skills
- You enjoy building positive relationships with stakeholders and within the team
- You are able to work under time pressure in a challenging and changeable environment
Furthermore, you have:
- Completed educational background in Accountancy/Finance/IT (or similar)
- Strong Excel skills (VBA as an advantage)
- Knowledge of Analysis for Office as an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Power Query, PowerPivot, Power Automate as an advantage
- Fluency in English
