IT Project Manager

Role: IT Project Manager – Cracov
Managing complex project for large financial services company in a multi disciplinary and multi location project.
Responsibilities:
- Build teams in Krakow. Assist with new-hire activities
- Planning and monitoring of the work steams
- Work closely with global team and co-ordinate with Program management
- Participate in status meeting and governance forums
- Manage team performance and productivity
- Implement SDLC processs
- Ensuring sharing of best practices/business domain knowledge/exploiting synergies between teams
- Identifying infrastructure issues, other inefficiencies in the environment and drive solutions.
Skills Required:
- Very good experience in project management. Preferably PMI certification
- 10+ year of experience with 3+ in Project Management
- Experience of working in financial services
- Education in engineering/computer science background
- Experience in managing 20+ team preferably in an outsourcing/off-shoring setup.
- Excellent soft skills and English communication skills
- Should be in a position to hold deep technical discussions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Orientation in Java developement would be an asset
