Your new company

Global IT consulting company is building a new team in Gdansk and currently looking for experienced Java Developer.

Your new role

Holding the position of Java developer you will be responsible for carrying various areas of responsibility and tasks. This responsibility includes designing and developing Java based 3-tier systems, develop functional requirements document based on client requirements, participation in full lifecycle software development, conducting project design reviews and code reviews, developing applications and features at the direction of the client and architects. Moreover, adopting and championing continuous integration and agile development best practices to drive emergent design and solid implementation to ensure quality and efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will have at least 3 years of experience as Java Developer (good understanding of technologies added in Java8), strong knowledge of SQL, understanding of web service applications SOAP, Restful API etc. and experience working with JS/HTML/CSS. If you have functional knowledge of three tier systems this offer is for you. All work is conducted in English therefore fluency in English is required. Earlier experience with Hibernate and working knowledge of extJS and/or React frameworks will be an asset.
