As Java Developer you will help design and develop new components in the and around the Trading Book Warehouse. That includes scalable high capacity real time infrastructure as well as complex rule based reporting and other business logic enriching components. In order to meet the requirements of our business stakeholders, you collaborate closely with the business to ensure the highest level of quality in your deliverables. What's more, you provide 3rd level support on relevant systems when required.
- Java (solid knowledge)
- Development and debugging on Windows
- Multi-threading and concurrency in Java
- Distributed programming using message queues
- Database programming in at least one SQL dialect; familiarity with JDBC
- Unit testing
- Distributed version control systems (Git, Mercurial, etc.)
- Build automation and continuous integration (Maven, Bamboo, etc)
- Spring frameworks
You will be a part of the large Core Services-team, which is the central trade data warehouse in Capital Markets. We are retrieving, holding, and presenting trades, positions, market, and master data from 40+ systems and other sources. The warehouse is an Oracle based solution on very large databases. We work in agile and distributed environment, so effective communication and collaboration is critical to achieving our objectives. You will become a member of an empowered and strong development team, which is building the portfolio of services using Java and industry standard tools and methodologies.
