On behalf of our Client, an international company located in Tricity, we are currently looking for candidates for a position of Network Management Specialist.
The Network Management Specialist will work within the Technical Specialist Group Distribution Management team. Main purpose is to pro-actively monitor the healthiness of devices installed in client site, resolve technical problems using remote management tools and acting as a frontline support for the clients. In the scope of responsibilities there are also managing problems end to end, liaising with field groups, technical operation/telecoms, 2nd line support and keeping track the progress until problem is resolved. Moreover, collecting and analyzing log file from client site device and performing post-install checks to ensure correct function of devices. There will be a requirement to work on a rota pattern.
The ideal candidate will have excellent working knowledge of TCP/IP, remote management protocols and tools (i.e. Tivoli) as well as data communication and digital switching including LAN/WAN systems, understanding of Windows Workstation/Server and Network Technologies (firewalls, routers, bridges, switches). What is more, candidate should be competent in customer service skills and have strong problem solving and decision-making skills. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required and one other European language would be a plus.
