You will join 200 colleagues in a Procurement team spread across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, UK, Poland and Hong Kong. On behalf of our global organisation, we manage procurement activities of an annual spend of ~3.5 billion EUR. You will work out of Gdansk and report to Head of IT Procurement, Stig B. About the job
You will be a part of a smaller team focused on IT procurement within the Procurement Business Service team consisting of 14 colleagues dedicated to a wide array of indirect procurement categories.
The IT procurement team handles global procurement of Software, IT consultancy services, Communication, Site automation, Production IT, Hardware, IT operations, IT services etc. With responsibility for driving and optimising IT procurement for your categories, you will:
- Support Category Managers developing, launching and driving RFPs to select suppliers in targeted categories in cooperation with stakeholders.
- Negotiate and extend contracts to ensure they meet agreed standards, time frames and prices.
- Drive compliance agenda in Arla within IT categories on especially PO and spend compliance, by onboarding suppliers and stakeholders to the Arla processes.
- Manage negotiation projects, involving and efficiently coordinating between stakeholders and suppliers.

Procurement Experience
The optimum candidate will have experience with IT and have a minimum of 1 year procurement experience.
You have a commercial mindset and thrive in working with negotiations, building relationships, running projects and optimizing processes.
Furthermore you:
- Hold a Master degree or similar and preferably experience from a similar position which means you have some procurement knowledge including negotiations – both commercial and legal.
- Have experience with purchasing of IT or have gained knowledge of IT in other ways.
- Have a project management mindset ready to support and lead stakeholders from start to end in a procurement process.
- Are resilient and willing to take lead.
- Thrive in building positive relationships and can manage stakeholders on all levels of the organisation.
- Are structured and analytic.
- MS office knowledge at an advance level.
- Lastly, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
