Would you like to join us in developing solutions around Big Data and Advanced Analytics? We are now looking for a Scrum Master to join our Agile release train and help in managing and analysing the business needs and deliver complex end-to-end solutions to business.  You may also be asked to act as a Release Train Engineer for some period of time.

About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Group Data Management Office (GDMO) and Platform Delivery team. We add value by providing data and analytics solutions to rest of Nordea. As a Scrum Master, you’ll play a valuable role in engaging with different stakeholders, understanding and translating the business needs and deliver complex solutions together with all Agile teams within the train. Examples of the solutions we enable via our Agile release trains are: Common Data Platform, business data marts for different analytical purposes, AI & Machine Learning application, etc.  

 

This is an opportunity for you to be part of taking Data at Nordea to the next level and to collaborate with different organization units and teams across the Nordics, Poland and India. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Facilitating System Demos, PI planning event, the vision, roadmaps, ART sync and backlog
  • Ensuring that Team PI Objectives are summarized into Program PI Objectives and published for visibility and transparency
  • Striving for delegating and developing people into reaching their full potential
  • Keeping yourself updated on best agile practice
  • Coaching leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
  • Assisting in building high-performance teams
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong SM community within the ART
  • Assuring compliance and operation within Nordea budgeting and financial guidelines and the Nordea Delivery Guide

You’ll join a team full of skilful colleagues who will help you grow further in your role. The role is based in Gdynia; Helsinki.

Your experience and background:  

  • Experience in working with SAFe methodology is mandatory
  • At least 2 years of experience as an IT Project Manager/Scrum Master 
  • Strong experience in working with data and analytics
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field would be an asset 
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience of having directly worked with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop) is seen as an advantage 
  • SAFe RTE/SPC certification would be seen as an advantage
