Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Automation, Cognitive Computing
Are you ready to embark on a journey where we lead the way and push the limits in transforming the future of banking? We are looking for a person who has experience with data analytics and machine learning techniques, preferably from the banking industry in an operations function (incident, problem change management) to join our IT Release Management Team in Core Technology, helping Nordea to transform into the bank of the future.
In Nordea, we’re harnessing the power of technology to reinvent the future of banking. A tech revolution is underway – and you can make an impact. Though we’re a Nordic bank, we’re also a large IT employer in Tricity and Warsaw. Working with international teams in an inspiring working environment, you’ll have lots of opportunities to expand your skills and advance your career.
Welcome to the IT Release Management team. We add value by securing that our releases are of high standard and our DevOps teams are equipped with all the best practices and tooling needed to maintain best-in-class services for our customers.
As a Senior Data Engineer , you’ll play a valuable role in developing solutions for faster problem identification and resolution for real-time data processing within our Core Technology organisation particularly in the area of Change & Release Management. In areas where legacy systems exist, data becomes a valued resource in identifying and predicting the weak points to prevent potential incidents and impact to the customer that automation cannot reach. Understanding that data is key to the prevention of incidents. You will be part of completing that journey.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will develop solutions for faster problem identification and resolution for real-time data processing within our Core Technology organisation particularly in the area of Incident, Problem and Change & Release Management.
- You will aggregate data from numerous disparate data sources, CI/CD tools, ITSM tools, APIs, logs, relational, and non-relational databases and develop automated self-healing solutions that are identified through monitoring, dashboards etc., in order to help business, change teams, development and operations make better decisions.
- You will keep track of industry best practices and trends and through your acquired knowledge, continuously willing to explore, implement and experiment with new ideas and tools especially in the area of cognitive machine learning.
- You will work with your automation colleagues and release coordinators to integrate the metrics especially in the legacy areas where automation becomes increasingly difficult.
- At times you may be asked to demo, help and support our release & change managers and your team colleagues, providing input into training and documentation where needed.
You’ll join a vibrant performing team where your ideas are always welcome, your contribution is always valued and you get all the support when you need it.
The role is based in Poland, Gdynia.
