Analyze business and technical requirements, as well as existing data models and reports, to understand the detailed data management requirements
Articulate architecture and standards for data warehouse, data marts, and multidimensional databases utilizing industry best practices
Create proof of concept pilots to demonstrate the implementation and impact of new technology and ideas
Create conceptual, logical and physical data and metadata models\
Mentor users on data warehouse and data applications and capabilities
Package and assist in configuration management, deployment, and release management of data components
Guide application development/support teams regarding database usage, interfaces, performance tuning, and other operational issues
Provide input the preparation and execution of system, integration and acceptance testing activities associated with acquiring data from source systems and loading into the data warehouse
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
3 to 8 years' experience in technology solutions or consulting
Familiarity with Inman, Kimball and other data driven methodologies
Demonstrated ability to design, develop, debug, and deploy Big Data solutions
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, to manage multiple tasks, work in agile manner‚ and work independently or as a team
Good analytical skills, the ability to integrate information from multiple sources to execute effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment
Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with various levels of technical and business stakeholders
Good knowledge of database management tools (i.e. administration, modelling, etc.)
Good knowledge of Big Data and modern (Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence) platforms
Good knowledge of relational/dimensional modelling, telemetry, data mining, predictive analytics, machine learning, visualization, and cloud (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) offerings
Understanding of industry/technology domains, reference architectures, and trends in data science
Strong sense of personal responsibility and teamwork
Excellent English
