Increase our capabilities and leadership in emerging data integration and management technologies
The Big data solution Architect will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of data–centric projects and ETL development for big data platforms. The ideal candidate will be innovative and process driven with accountability for delivering application and data services. The role will assume architectural responsibility for delivery of big data, machine learning, and business intelligence projects.
Your main tasks are:
- Provide technology solution expertise, technical leadership, requirements, and assistance to application development teams.
- Confer with end-users, enterprise architects or senior management to define technology requirements for solution development.
- Where applicable, design, and oversee development and implementation of end-to-end integrated technology solutions.
- Document the solution architecture and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives.

Big Data expertise and great collaboration skills
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in big data technologies, data management, data integration, and analytics platforms. Specifically, this individual will have significant experience with designing and implementing complex data processing pipelines, relevant development environments and tools.
- You hold a MA or PhD in Computer Science or computer engineering
- You fully understand the system development life cycle; software project management approaches; and requirements, design, and test techniques.
- You have strong knowledge in data management, data modeling, database design and reporting technologies
- You understand the breadth in established and emerging data technologies, and either experienced or conversant in emerging tools, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data.
- You have +5 years of experience in big data technologies, data management, data integration, and analytics platforms
- You communicate effortlessly in English
